It is with great sadness that we learn of the recent passing of Mrs Christine Rees, wife of our former President Wyn. Christine was a loyal supporter of CDYO over many years and she will be very much missed.  Our sincere sympathies go to Wyn and their family and friends in their sad loss.

It is with sadness we learnt recently of the deaths of two of our past talented musicians and orchestra members. Ian Thomas was the Accompanist for Oliver when Carmarthen Youth Opera competed in the prestigious Waterford Festival in 1980.
