We are thrilled to announce that Carmarthen and District Youth Opera is bringing the timeless classic THE SOUND OF MUSIC to the stage next February 2026!

Get ready to be swept away by the unforgettable story of Maria and the von Trapp family, featuring beloved songs like Do-Re-Mi, My Favourite Things, Edelweiss and Climb Ev’ry Mountain. With stunning sets, powerful performances, and the incredible talent of our young cast, this is a show you won’t want to miss!

For over 40 years, Carmarthen and District Youth Opera has dazzled audiences with spectacular productions led by the brightest rising stars in West Wales. Known for our professional-standard shows and passionate young performers, we can’t wait to share this magical musical with you.
